Cafe fun from Caldicot Musical Theatre Society

By Mark Elson in Local People

ONE of wartime France’s best-known cafes opened its doors again for the weekend, courtesy of Caldicot Musical Theatre Society.

The madcap goings-on at Rene’s café were brought to life at the Caldicot Choir Hall over the weekend to appreciative audiences.

’Allo Rene, based on the classic BBC comedy ’Allo ’Allo, was written by and directed by Deb Hughes and had its full quota of the show’s double entendres.
