Road rage appeal

By Mark Elson in Local People

POLICE are trying to trace a man after he verbally abused a mother in English Bicknor as she took her two young children to school.

The woman, who had a seven-year-old child and a five-month old baby in the car was “very frightened” by the incident on Friday morning (July 7), say Gloucestershire Police.

The driver of a small, silver, sporty car harassed the woman as she slowed to go through the 20mph school zone.

He then braked sharply, got out of his car, went over to the woman and started shouting and swearing at her.

He then got back into his car and drove off out of the village.

The man is described as being about 5ft 8in tall with short, dark hair and brown eyes. He was wearing combat trousers.

The confrontation took place between 8.40am and 8.50am and anyone with information is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident 155 of July 7.
