POLICE are appealing for information following a burglary in Penallt near Monmouth on the afternoon of Saturday, July 23. A spokesperson for the police said: “The offence on Hoop Road occurred sometime between 12.30pm and 5.15pm. “Entry was forced into the property and a bronze statue of a bull by HWB Davies from circa 1872 and a heavy duty orange Tanaka brush-cutter strimmer were stolen. We believe it would have taken at least two people to lift the bull due to its weight.    If you have information, call 101 quoting log number 507 of 23/07/16.
