I have lived in Victoria Road, Coleford, for over 35 years during which time have been closely connected with both Angus Buchanan and Coleford Bowls Club.

During the 1980s, together with the late Mr Dilwyn Payne, I spent many hours cutting grass and maintaining the flower beds which no longer exist.

I have for the past 20 years been a social member of Coleford Bowls Club and have, like many others, enjoyed the facilities offered including hire of the premise for wedding parties, birthdays, christenings and other events.

The Angus Buchanan has created a society 'Friends of the Buchanan' of which I am a friend.

During the process of the Buchanan proposals I have not been consulted for my views on the proposals.

I would therefore ask that all 'Friends of the Buchanan' either support the Angus Buchanan by letter or ask for their names to be removed from the list of Friends.
