A 29-year-old Lydney woman who has admitted that her German Shepherd dog injured a person while it was out of control has been bailed while magistrates await an expert report.

Jessica Ballinger of Old Town Mews, High Street, has pleaded guilty to being the owner of a black and tan dog called Bruno when it was out of control and hurt a female at Lydney Park Estate, Aylburton, on 1st June this year.

A pre-sentence report about Ballinger has already been prepared for the court but the magistrates decided to delay until 13th October for an expert report to be written.

Ballinger was unconditionally bailed until that date.
