A SELECTION of art work from Heywood students is being showcased at the launch of the Guildhall Schools exhibition in Gloucester.

The work, inspired by the students' everyday lives and the landscape around them, includes paintings and three-dimensional art using mixed media, clay and plaster.

Sally Clarke, head of art at Heywood Community School says: "The paintings will be hung in the foyer of the Guildhall café throughout the month of November. This is a great opportunity for Heywood to showcase the fantastic work which is created by our talented students; and show the hundreds of visitors to the Guildhall the creativity of Cinderford's young people. Please call in and see the work for yourselves."
