POLICE are investigating the theft of a wrought iron gate from a church in Mitcheldean.

The 4ft by 3ft white iron gate was stolen between Monday (June 6) and 1pm on Saturday (June 11) from the lower church yard on Abenhall Road.

Anyone with any information about the theft is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 0845 090 1234 quoting incident number 280 of June 11.
