LET band battle commence! One of the Forest's top unsigned bands, Crash and Berney has won the regional finals of the UK Live unsigned competition.

Led by singer, Hannah Berney, the five piece group from Chepstow will now battle it out with 20 other unsigned acts on March 27. If they get through, a recording and management contract with Future Music Management is up for grabs.

The group, made up of Wyedean and ex-Wyedean students, already have a number of nominations under their belt – including the online Emerging Talent Award and will be contributing to a charity recording for the victims of the Haiti Earthquake organised by Hannah's Music in Chepstow.
