•The passengers may be local but the charabanc and the setting are definitely not! Thanks to several readers the location of this 1920s picture has been identified as Weymouth. Mr Robert Edworthy, of Caldicot, came up with the real detail. The charabanc was a Thorneycroft built in 1913 and there were 30 seats. It was owned by Mr T. W. Purfleet, of Weymouth. How's that!
