CROWDS flocked to Caldicot Castle for the Summer Spectacular featuring national and local bands including a Bon Jovi tribute group.

The event, jointly organised by the Caldicot Chamber of Commerce and Chepstow music shop proprietor Carol Mutlow, saw thousands enjoying the music in the castle grounds.

"It was absolutely fantastic," said Carol, who had been specially glad to book The Bon Jovi Experience as the band was a favourite of her daughter Hannah, who died at the age of 16 from cystic fibrosis.

"They agreed to dedicate 'Livin' on a Prayer' to Hannah so it was a really good moment to hear this," said Carol.
