WE'VE been everywhere, man ... Leeds, Newcastle, Spurs, Villa, Chelsea.
You name it and with one exception Caldicot Rangers FC have been there.
What started as an end of season trip for the youngsters of Caldicot is now a regular fund-raiser for the club – though at present there is not a team!
"It's sad but we can't find a parent to run the junior football side," says Mike Nicks, organiser of the 20 odd trips Caldicot Rangers run every season to top Football League grounds all over England.
The trips still raise funds for junior football so it will be in good heart when, eventually, a coach comes forward.
"I've thought about cancelling them but people will not let me. The telephone is always ringing asking when the next one is," said Mike.
It all started when Mike organised an end of season trip for the Caldicot youngsters in 1991.
But slowly it snowballed and now Mike shoulders the task of arranging trips all over the country.
"It's very much family orientated. Lots of people would never get the chance to see Premier League football without our club. We get lots of calls from people who want to take youngsters somewhere to celebrate a birthday," he said.
Mike said obtaining tickets was not usually a problem and they had built up a good relationship with all the league clubs.
"Most of our customers come from the Review area so we have pick-up points in Caldicot, Chepstow, Lydney and the Forest," he said.
The club is officially a branch of the Liverpool Supporters Club but obtains tickets for games Mike believes he can easily sell and will be of interest to locals.
Tickets for Manchester United league games are impossible to obtain but Mike usually manages a party to Old Trafford for European Cup games in the earlier rounds.
The only club he has been unable to get tickets for is Arsenal.
The biggest trip he organised was to Wimbledon when he took four packed coaches to watch them play Manchester United.
The Review's Steve Cassidy joined Caldicot Rangers on their last trip of the season to Newcastle's St James' Park for the game against West Ham.
"It was a great trip, really well organised and well worth the journey," said Steve.
Back in Caldicot, Mike is still looking for someone to organise the junior football team but says he will be back in August fixing trips for soccer fans from all over the Forest and Wye Valley.
"They won't let me pack it up," said the man who has personally visited 73 league grounds round Britain.
