OH dear! How easy it is for misinformation to become fact.

The clear felling of the trees around Drybrook was necessary because of a disease-carrying beetle which infected the trees and caused them to die.

Clear felling will hopefully break the lifecycle of the beetles because nothing is left for them to feed on. Well done Forestry Commission; but you achieve only half marks! Why? Because it takes someone like me to point out the true position!

Come one, FC. You're doing a good practical job, but failing in public relations.
