Strange how we do not appreciate what's on our own doorstep. The Arab TV station Al Jazeera has made a programme about the Severn elvers.

It's the best one I've seen on the subject. Check it out on You Tube by typing in "Earthrise, series three, episode four."  If you are the least bit interested, you won't regret it.
