I USED to write to your paper frequently, but I would like your readers to know the benefit of having solar panels installed.

I had them put on my roof about a year ago and I would like your readers to know the readings on my meter from July 13 this year – 36448 to July 24 -36462, using 14 KWs.

I cannot understand why the Government is not advising people to have them installed.

They could install them on hospital roofs and they would pay for all the electricity they use. It seems to me a 'licence to print money'.

Definitely the best move I ever made.
