STAFF at Santander in Cinderford have found their winner for their decorate-a-biscuit competition that they launched back at Easter.
The lucky winner was nine-year-old Charlotte Probert from Cinderford who was presented with a bucket of sweets by the area manager, David Hawkins.
Jane Coles, who is the manager at the Santander in Cinderford, said: "We contacted Hearts of the Forest around Easter time because we were concerned about their central heating after oil was stolen from the centre. We invited the children to decorate our window with the theme being our 1-2-3 account.
"They did an excellent job and people commented on how creative it looked. So we thought that it would be good to get more children involved and decided to launch a decorate-a-biscuit competition whereby when people came in to open an ISA their children could decorate a biscuit. It has proved very popular. Out of the 25 children who entered we chose Charlotte because her biscuit looked really unique. She had created a double tier filled with cream and a row of sweets and so on which looked like a crown – we were all very impressed with it."
The children at Hearts of the Forest were also given a bucket of sweets for their creative window display.
