A SUCCESSFUL team of junior rugby players is seeking to strengthen its squad by recruiting more youngsters to play.

The Lydney RFC 11 and under team wants more youngsters to join them and learn how to play.

"We already have quite a successful squad and recently won a competition held at Torquay RFC's ground," said Phil Barker-Benfield.

"It a great way to learn how to play rugby properly , to make friends, and to get fit. We train every Sunday morning (11am) at the rugby club," he said.
