LYDNEY Boxing Club's first Town Hall show since November 2006 promises an action-packed programme this Friday.

The evening features the Novice Championships with some of the best young boxers from the region. There are full supporting bouts involving Lydney boxers.

These will include Jack Vaughan, Elliot Osman, Matt Webb, Keiran Howells, Dan Mason, Adam Arkel, Stefan Brown, Ishanullah Kakar, Cory Jones, Joe Wilcox and super heavyweight Andy Rowbotham.

"It has all the elements for a great evening's entertainment," says the boxing club's Bryan Higgs.

"Our young boxers are making really good progress ands this is an opportunity for them to show off their skills to local fans."
