Ian Reeves, 18, was laid to rest in a remarkable show of unity at Blakeney last Saturday. The community closed for Ian's funeral. He was carried on a horse-drawn hearse from one end of the village to the other, followed by his family and hundreds of friends for the service at All Saints' Church, conducted by the Rev John Seaman. Ian died at Frenchay Hospital, Bristol, from injuries received in a car crash on the outskirts of Blakeney the previous Friday evening.
