I AM trying to find a Mr Roy White, who was last known to have moved to the Lydney area upon his retirement some 20 or so years ago.
Roy White was the area manager for what was then British Rail and his office was in Cardiff.
I am told that he subsequently retired to ‘Lydney.’
The word ‘Lydney’ is used simply because he travelled by train to and from Lydney station.
This does not mean of course that he resided in the town of Lydney, just that Lydney station was the nearest to his home, and that he possibly drove to and from Lydney station, to/from his home – wherever that may be in the surrounding area.
He would be around 80 years of age now I can be contacted via e-mail: [email protected].
