Letter to the Editor: I find the comment about the fitness of Palestinians to govern themselves (Not our business - November 24) patronising and, possibly, bordering on racist.
It is reminiscent of the attitude of European colonialists to the indigenous African populations in the 19th and 20th centuries.
Who will judge when the Palestinians have proved themselves suitable? The Israelis?
