BEATLEMANIA hit Bream Primary School at the end of term when pupils took a leap of faith to perform some of the best of The Beatles songs live.

Willow Class teacher, Andy Wilkinson, said they performed nine classic songs including 'Let It Be', 'From Me To You', 'Yellow Submarine' and 'Hard Day's Night'.

"They didn't initially know a lot of the tracks, but picked them up quite fast and they performed them live – no backing tracks.

"They did afternoon and evening performances and It all went down really well. Some of the parents were saying it was the best performance they'd seen in years."
