December brings a little prayer

For our saviour he was born.

January brings cold windy spells

And peace after the storm.

February and a crocus peeps

It's head from underneath the ground.

March brings hope for it's nearly spring

And a new joy will be found.

For April the dead our lord did arise,

For it's Easter time and full of surprise.

May brings apple blossoms in the sun,

June spreads it's warmth to everyone.

July brings summer holidays

Seaside, sand buckets and spades.

August brings more lazy hazy days

And gardens filled with scent,

Strawberries and cream, more barbecues

Oh, this is Heaven sent.

September brings slight chilly nights

And thoughts which turn to Christmas.

October brings bright heavenly stars

That fill the sky amass.

November bonfires they will burn

With fireworks that light the sky,

For it's the time of year to say goodbye

To a very famous Guy!

December once more and it's Christmas time

A season of good cheer,

Rejoice, rejoice

For a baby was born,

Jesus our lord so dear.
