IT’S been a humble London bus and taken a family on holiday to North Africa but this historic 60-year-old has been given a new lease of life – as a mobile cocktail bar.

The 1958 Leyland Titan PD3 has been part of the Brown family – who run the London Bus Export Co in Lydney – for some 40 years.

Last year Clement Brown refurbished the interior, completed with flooring from a church near Southampton which is now the bar and plans to hire out the bus-bar for events and parties.

The bus was one of the attractions at the May market held last weekend at Taurus Crafts near Lydney.

Clement said: “Buses are in my blood because of the family and I

love everything about cocktails – the flavours, the history and the stories and this brings it all together.”
