ITS no surprise that us Brits are a nation of biscuit-lovers, but recent research by master chocolatiers and luxury biscuit makers, Elizabeth Shaw, has revealed that one in 10 of us actually prefer to pair a biscuit with our favourite tipple!

In honour of this, Elizabeth Shaw have teamed up with popular bar and eatery, The Botanist, to giveaway a free packet of biscuits to customers with every food or drinks bill.

To celebrate this collaboration, we are giving one lucky reader the chance to win a luxury Elizabeth Shaw chocolate and biscuits hamper to enjoy with their favourite glass of gin, prosecco or brandy.

Elizabeth Shaw has over 130 years of chocolate-making heritage, with the late Queen Mother reputed to be partial to a Peppermint Cream or two. Known not only for their delicious chocolates, their biscuits are special too. With a heavenly combination of crumbly yet gooey, crunchy yet creamy, and deliciously different - they are a devilishly moreish companion to, well… just about anything!

The Botanist, with a branch at Unit 6, The Brewery, Cheltenham GL50 4FA, was started with an idea to create a secret garden of food and drink - a place where antiquities and trinkets hang from the walls, and resident botanists craft unusual concoctions. Somewhere for live music, somewhere for conversation; but most importantly a place where all can enjoy a wonderful occasion.

Offering a soon to be world-famous selection of botanical cocktails, The Botanist also has craft beers and ales, champagne and wine. With food inspired by the deli, rotisserie and BBQ, and music every night, sublime social times are guaranteed!

To be in with the chance of winning this delicious prize, simply answer the following question…

What number of people in Britain prefer an alcoholic beverage with their favourite biscuit? Is it:

a) 1 in 5

b) 1 in 10

c) 1 in 7
