NEARLY half of Lakers' School students have added to MP Mark Harper's postbag by writing letters quizzing him about the rumoured Forest sell-off.

The letter writing campaign was launched by the students themselves spurred on by Emma-Jayne Allen and Ella Merrikin. In total, Emma-Jayne says 344 personal letters were written to Mark Harper MP, with a further 365 being sent to former Royal Forest Grammar School student, now Labour leader in the Lords, Baroness Jan Royall.
