Professor Tim Congdon has recently published a booklet on the cost of the EU to Britain and his conclusion is that each British household is worse off by £5,000 every year as a result of Britain's membership of the EU.

Professor Congdon, who lives in Huntley, is one of the country's leading economists so knows what he is talking about.
