We have had another successful year for Longhope Gardens.  Numbers were down slightly on last year because of heavy downpours on our last day, but there were still people who were willing to brave the British summer weather to see the gardens.

We once again raised over £2000, and I would like to thank all the people who visited us and paid their entrance fees to aid charities such as MacMillan Nurses and Marie Curie Cancer Care, just two of the many organisations supported by the National Garden Scheme.  We are already looking forward to next year and hope to raise even more money for these very worthy Charities.
