A MONTHLY advice service for members of the armed forces, veterans and their families will be available in Chepstow from next month.

The Royal British Legion (RBL) service is at the Hive Information Centre at Beachley Barracks on the first Monday of every month between 10am and 12pm, starting on Monday, June 5.

This is one of a number of planned new outreach locations across Wales which will make the RBL’s welfare services more accessible to the armed forces community past and present and their families.

Alexis Walker, advice and information team leader for the RBL in Wales, said: “Although we’re a UK national organisation, we work in local communities across the UK, delivering information, advice and support where it is needed most.

“This latest partnership with Beachley Barracks in Chepstow will make our welfare services as accessible as possible to our beneficiaries across the region.”
