WHEN Westbury United FC players found themselves in the quarter-finals of the Hospital Cup they vowed they would all dye their hair blond if they ever found themselves in the finals.
And true to their word the 'blond bombshells' turned out on Friday to blitz their way to a magnificent 4-1 win against Gloucester club Gala-Wilton at Harrow Hill.
The bigger part of this superb effort came from Robbie Snellgrove, who scored a hat trick.
After an opening that looked fairly evenly matched until the first goal, Westbury gained the upper hand and seemed to have it most of their own way.
Their next target is the North Gloucestershire League Cup – and there's no telling what hair colour they might turn out in to achieve that!
