His wife, Anne said: "Colin was over the moon with his first hole-in-one – especially as it was on a golf course he has only started playing on since last September.
"He plays at least three to four times a week; well basically any spare second he gets he's on the course."
The 65-year-old was rewarded for his achievement by Boss Watches H1Club who presented him with a limited-edition Boss watch as well as access to exclusive benefits and merchandise.
