I WORK in Filton, Bristol for two weeks – on first week I put in £80 fuel plus £12.80 a day bridge fare totalling an £64 extra thus costing in total £144 a week on the second week. The cost was too high so I decided to travel from Filton via Gloucester home.

Although it was longer to get home, all I put in was £20 extra thus saving £44.

I cannot see why bridge tolls are so high when it's cheaper to travel around Gloucester.

Surely these unjust tolls are unacceptable – it seems to be more appropriate to pollute the climate for our children.

Or is it more for greed to the operators of the Severn crossings?
