POLICE are hunting a burglar who broke into a house in broad daylight, ransacked the property and stole a large quantity of jewellery.
The raider smashed their way in through patio doors at the Crick home between 9.20am and 11.55am on Thursday, August 17.
Officers have asked anyone offered jewellery taken in the raid to contact them.
They say items stolen included a pair of tanzanite earrings – yellow gold, a small triangle shape with a blue stone – gold earrings with a green emerald stone, plain gold stud earrings, cameo earrings with a terracotta base and slightly raised cream head, and a matching cameo ring with gold band.
Also taken were a small box of assorted gold earrings which contained a pair of opal white studs, a yellow gold sapphire ring with platinum shoulders which the band had snapped on, a yellow gold ring with a cluster of pearls, a silver necklace with a black pearl, and a silver necklace with a white pearl.
