I FIND it very irritating that Gordon Brown can't accept his part in this latest financial crisis. He and Alistair Darling should be made to watch Evan Davis's programme shown on the BBC (the city and banking) explaining how the crisis came about, and his part in it. If he saw this he would have seen the history of booms and busts in the past and how they come about. He claimed to be the saviour of the world in this crisis. But he won't admit his part in it.

He is now borrowing billions of pounds to fund the recovery. Thankfully he has taken some conservative policies which might help.

I can see him driving this country into financial problems for the next 10 to 20 years through his lack of judgement.

He just rants on about being the only one who knows how to fix it.

How I wish Gordon Brown would call an election so we could get rid of him, and get a competent government to run this country. – R.B. Shaw, Woolaston.
