A PETITION calling for the return of the minor injuries unit at Chepstow Community Hospital has been started.

The campaign is an initiative by members of the Chepstow Labour Party but they say they would welcome cross-party support.

The unit at Chepstow was one of three in Gwent that were closed in November 2011 and health chiefs say the closure was on safety grounds and there are no plans to review the decision.
