GREETING cards retailer Clinton Cards closed the doors of its Chepstow store to the public on Saturday.
Three members of staff are losing their jobs as a result of the closure of the shop in High Street
They were retained their jobs until today (Wednesday) to complete the removal of stock.
The closure comes after the company went into administration in May.
Some stores have been saved but it is understood the lease on the Chepstow store is up for renewal soon prompting the administrators to close the shop.
Clinton Cards has had a store in Chepstow for 10 years.
It was part of the largest card retailer in the country and has 784 stores around the country.
It was forced to close around half of them after being unable to meet debt repayments.
