A LYDNEY care assistant took to the streets of London to run the marathon and raised more than £170.
Roberta Havers, 32, joined thousands of other runners in the 26-mile race to raise money for the Rodley House residents welfare fund where she cares at in Lydney.
She said: "I have worked very hard to make sure that I was physically fit to take part and am so proud of my fantastic achievement. I managed to get to the finish line in 4 hrs 46mins."
