SOME people just don't get it do they? I refer of course to Mrs Civil's letter to you last week (July 15) subtitled "get a grip."

David Cameron has spent years trying to distance the modern Conservative Party from the Daily Mail reading likes of Mrs Civil and I am sure that Mark Harper will toe the party line as always and side with his leader on this one too. Mrs Civil needs to understand that the Tories these days are supposed to be the caring/sharing, 'we're all in it together' party, and there is no longer any room for the nasty, reactionary, tub thumping bigots that the party was always famous for back in Thatcher's days.
