CHILDREN and their parents are dismayed after young vandals damaged and stole bikes at Berry Hill Primary School.

Forest police are investigating the Saturday incident and have issued CCTV camera pictures of people they would like to interview.

They show three hooded figures interfering with the bikes between 4.55pm and 5.10pm. They entered the garden of the under-fives playgroup in Nine Wells and vandalised two plastic tricycles, a Little Tikes car and a sheet of plastic in a playhouse, causing more than £100-worth of damage.

They then moved on to the grounds of the primary school at the same location and stole a pink and white Barbie bike and another children's bike in purple and white from a shed. The total value of the items is around £60.

Anyone who recognises the people in the images, or saw suspicious activity in the area on Saturday, is asked to call the new non-emergency number 101, quoting incident 159 of February 28.
