SUSPECTED crack cocaine, methadone and heroin were seized in a drugs raid in Coleford on Wednesday (June 29).

Officers responding to intelligence about the property carried out a search warrant at a flat in St John Street at around 3pm.

Quantities of the class A drugs, which could have a street value of up to several thousand pounds, were discovered and will be destroyed once the investigation is complete.

A 45-year-old man and two women aged 32 and 35, all from Coleford, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and will return to police on July 7, pending further inquiries.

PC Leanne Sterry said: "This was a significant seizure and we hope it shows the local community we will take action on drugs when we receive information."
