THREE people had a haircut to remember to raise money for cancer nurses and the children's respite hospital.
The shave was organised in memory of Trena Renney who died of cancer last year.
Shortly before her death she asked her eldest daughter, Annette Marshall, to organise a fund-raising head shave in aid of the Macmillan nurses and children's respite care services.
Annette was joined by Trena's grandson, Joshua Gwilliam and friend Debra Rowe to brave the clippers at the Mirror Mirror salon in Lydney.
Stylist Abby Jenkins did the honours watched
by Trena Gwilliam, Kaylie Marshall, Tracey Thomas, Paige Gwilliam and Becky Wadley.
Mrs Marshall said they hoped the event would raise around £600 for the good causes.
She said: "Mum asked me to organise a fund-raising event and she would have laughed her head off to see this.
"We want to say a huge thank you to the Macmillan nurses who supported her and the family through a painful time."
