DRYBROOK builders' merchants Hale & Co are brewing up as staff prepare to take part in the world's biggest coffee morning.

Now in its 21st year the world's biggest coffee morning, taking place this Friday (September 30), aims to encourage people to take time out over a coffee and help raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Hales will be offering coffee and homemade cake from 8am till 1pm with all donations going towards the charity.

Leslie Hale said: "This is Macmillan Cancer Support's flagship fund­raising event. We hope the coffee morning raises a huge amount of money this year.

"We are also holding a grand raffle with loads of prizes all kindly donated by local businesses." Tickets can be bought now in store or on the morning.
