THE Principal of Gloscol strives for an outstanding college. This will be very difficult to achieve when very competent existing staff from Royal Forest of Dean College have been dismissed. Experienced lecturers and support staff with lengthy service are no longer required, taking with them a wealth of knowledge, goodwill and a can-do attitude.

Gloscol appear to want human machines to do the work without personality or a mind of their own. The open doors of RFDC have closed leaving a large city college to serve the community of the Forest. What a shame!
