THE most hit corner shop in the Forest of Dean has received another belting from a passing lorry.

Inspirations, the picture framing business on the corner of Lydney's Bream Road and High Street, was hit again last Thursday night, bringing down part of the signage.

Police are appealing for witnesses as the lorry driver failed to stop.

Owner Les Meakin said the collision took the total number of accidents there into double figures.

"Sometimes the damage has been minor and we have not bothered to report it. But there have been some big hits and this one caused a significant amount of damage," he said.

Police say they are working to identity the lorry and driver and are asking for witnesses to come forward. They are asked to call the non emergency number, 101, quoting incident number 82 of November 11.
