DOES any reader recall helping move a Grade 2 listed medieval timbered cottage from Awre road Blakeney to an unknown heritage site in the UK in 1985?
Apparently it involved students who numbered each part. Then it was dismantled by crane and loaded onto lorries.
This cottage was one of only a few of its design remaining and English Heritage would like to know where it is.
It is believed the project was led by an art teacher from Whitecross School named Mark Webster who lived 'on the corner' in Blakeney. Any help to [email protected]">[email protected] or 01594 510540 / 07950 042625 would be much appreciated.
