I WAS interested to read the letter from Gethyn J. Davies regarding his comments on UKIP.

He signs off with the comment that UKIP is "not the party of the people and not for the electorate of the Forest of Dean."

These comments should have been preceded with the words "In my opinion".

The people of the Forest of Dean will decide who represents them,when they visit the polling station not Mr Davies.

Regarding the UKIP meeting at Tutshill,  which I attended. I do not recall seeing any disrespect being shown to anyone.

People had their questions answered politely and to the point.
