A TWO-CAR prang on a Cinderford road popular with commuters was blocked on Monday evening for almost two hours.

Torrential rain didn’t help police clear the accident on Littledean Hill at the ‘bad bend’ near the ambulance station, which involved a Mercedes C350 and a Ford Zetec.

A woman sustained minor injuries to her neck and wrist. The road was cleared by 6.45pm.

Some motorists posted on Facebook that there had been an accident by the ambulance station and that alternative routes, such as The Ruffit, were gridlocked.
