A NEW business will be officially opened on Saturday by a very special little girl. A £40,000 appeal has been launched to help Imogen Ashwell-Lewis from Caldicot and she will do the honours at The Orange Crate juice bar.

The Orange Crate, which opened last Monday, is the brainchild of Lesley Sterry, who currently runs the award-winning venue, The Old Station Tea Rooms at Tintern.

The special launch event and official opening for the bar will be held on Saturday (April 12) and will be performed by Imogen. Imogen, from Caldicot, is the subject of an appeal to try and raise £40,000. to provide her with treatment for a debilitating nerve muscle condition, known as spastic diplegia cerebral palsy.

The 'Help Imogen Walk Appeal' was launched by her mother, Catherine. The Orange Crate has also named a special juice after Imogen, from which funds will be raised to help the appeal.

Lesley said: "We are proud to be helping Imogen and her family in the campaign to raise funds, and we are really excited that Imogen will be opening The Orange Crate on April 12."
