A FOREST and Herefordshire based charity supporting carers made it through to the finals of the Great British Care Awards for the south west, held in Bristol on Saturday November, 12.
Seven members of Crossroads Care Forest of Dean and Herefordshire were represented this year at the ceremony.
Amanda Morgan, Crossroads director of regulated services, said: “Crossroads care support worker Kirsty Boswell was nominated for the home care worker award, Mark Jones was nominated for the frontline leader award and Julie Kingston, Hayley Bennett, Mel Beckett, Teresa Gibson and George Hale from our active living team were nominated for the care innovator award.
“I am so proud of our finalists, they do a fabulous job in the community and work so hard. It was a truly wonderful evening that none of us will forget.
“Although Crossroads Care had no outright winners on the night, we are thrilled that the great work the team performs daily was recognised on such a wide platform.”
