WE note the increase in boar activity in populated areas.

Our suggestion would be to pass any costs of repairing verges, playgrounds, etc directly onto the Forestry Commission.

Boar are intelligent animals, they learn that when they are being killed in the deeper parts of the woods to move on.

Effectively this misconceived cull is driving the boar into more populated areas.

Their natural home, hidden in the deep woods, is now too dangerous, hence the policy driven by Mr Stannard and his minions is forcing greater interaction with people.

The only way to stop this is to stop this mindless cull and create a group to study the boar behaviour, as we would with any reintroduced species.

The Forest should welcome the boar and the increase in tourism and profile they bring to our beautiful forest and cease turning our forest into a shooting range.

– Sab the Boar Cull.
