HEARING about the on-going squabbles amongst this set of district councillors is worrying. I think they should just get on with things, as the very low turn-out in the recent Lydney and Newent polls seems like a show of indifference towards politics.

What is good for Foresters is good for tourists – good roads and transport, pleasing buildings, excellent public conveniences and free parking.

TICs could be in the One-Stop in Lydney or in libraries, because much can be done with a laptop and phone.

Small economies on day to day expenses – IT, stationery, travel, entertainment, consultants, heating, lighting, water, should all help.
